I’m on Vacation!

Happy Halloween! I am officially on vacation. I did NOT check my work email yet. Go me! Of course I DID check my personal email and immediately received a work-related inquiry, but I did my best to send the whole thing back to the people who are NOT on vacation this week. Well. Now that I’ve survived email checking, I should get on with the business of vacating. I think I will  be starting by watching as much mindless TV as I can get my hands on.

 I had this dream last night that I was getting ready to go to boarding school and had to figure out what to pack. So I’ve been thinking all morning that maybe that means I’m on a new journey right now. In my dream my new roommate and I were sharing a bedroom that had an open wall directly off of the cafeteria and I kept thinking Great! Short cut! — but then I started to think how exactly do they prevent the cafeteria staff from walking in on us? And that made me think that I should buy curtains, which is kind of a poor solution if you think about it– but maybe my dream was just a reminder that my apartment needs new curtains.
